Looking Foward to 2012

Much has been said about 2012. There is nothing to fear even though we are at a point of history marked by incredible de-stabilization: recession, stock market crash, geophysical and geopolitical instability, wild climate swings. Change is accelerating furiously--as though the whole world has gone ADHD.

But it is all very exciting as well. Because as Terence McKenna puts it, the World is in a Gestation Process.

History is in Gestation, when one form of life is in the process of transforming into another!

This video on Terence McKenna says it all. We need not fear the future. The future that is descending upon us now is in the throes of metamorphosis from a world too top heavy with its own hubris, too preoccupied with its own power to be concerned with its own children into another kind of world, another kind of experience that is somehow miraculous--probably lighter yet more expansive, more nurturing and sympathetic to what we will become.

We are birthing new selves, new forms, new power.

We are moving on, whether we like it or not, whether we believe it or not.

The wheels are already in motion.

We have a lot to look forward to in 2012!
